KNOW BEFORE YOU GO FLYER 2025 SUMMER

Frequently Asked Questions

Hey there! We love hearing from you and doing our best to respond to all your calls, texts, emails, and social media messages. However, just a heads up that during our busy hours, our main focus is on taking care of our fantastic in-person. Below are some common questions we get, and while it may seem like there are a lot of rules, they actually help create a better experience for everyone!

**Can I bring my kids?**

Our quarry is pretty deep—over 55 feet in most places—with very few shallow spots and no lifeguards around. For everyone's safety, all visitors must be 18 or older, so unfortunately, kiddos aren’t allowed on the property, even if they're with their parents.

**Can I bring my dog?**

We love dogs, but our quarry isn’t the best place for them because of hot and sharp rocks that could hurt their paws. Emotional support dogs can't join us, but dogs specifically trained for disabilities (service dogs) are absolutely welcome! We really want what's best for your furry friends.

**Can we bring food, coolers, canopies, chairs, grills, or umbrellas?**

You’re more than welcome to bring food, canopies, chairs, and umbrellas! Just a quick note: please leave ice bagged until after checked in to allow for an easier search, and we can’t allow charcoal grills on-site. Don't forget, The Snack Shack has plenty of snacks and drinks available! And just a reminder, outside alcohol and drugs aren’t allowed—thank you for understanding!

**Do you allow kayaks or paddle boards?**

Yes, we do! Just remember to keep a life jacket with you while you’re out enjoying the water. If you need any equipment, you can rent paddleboards, kayaks, and pedal boats at our Surf Shack.

**Are you handicapped accessible?**

We have walk-in beaches for easy water access, which is perfect for those who prefer not using ladders. The water is generally deep with only a few shallow areas. If you need any assistance, we’re more than happy to help, but please note that we don’t have lifeguards on duty.

**Do you allow nudity or nude swimming?**

As our park is for adults only, we do ask that everyone wears swim clothing.

**What’s the water temperature?**

Our quarry covers 7 acres, mostly over 40 feet deep. The surface can be warmer than the deeper water, especially on sunny days. Typically, you’ll start feeling the water warm up from late May to early June, but it cools off as we get into October.

**Can we leave and come back the same day?**

We have a no re-entry policy, but if you need something or forgot an item, just drop by our office, Surf Shack or Snack Shack for help.

**How much is the paddleboard or pedal boat rental?**

Renting a paddleboard or kayak for one person is just $25 for two hours. If you’re looking for a pedal boat for two, it’s $40 for the same time! You can find everything you need at our Surf Shack.

**Can we free swim?**

Safety is our top priority! Everyone needs to have a flotation device in the water because of depth and limited footing areas. You can rent life jackets or buy floats at the Surf Shack. Even the best swimmers can run into unexpected situations, so it’s super important to stay safe.

**Do you have an air pump for floats?**

Absolutely! We have a complimentary air compressor near our Surf Shack for you to use.

**Do you have fish?**

Yes, we do! You're welcome to feed them, but just a reminder, fishing is not allowed. You can grab some fish food at the Surf Shack. They love it when you feed them!

**Do I have to buy my tickets online?**

Buying tickets online comes with a sweet discount! You can secure your ticket for $9.99 (Friday & Monday), or $14.99 (Saturday, Sunday & Holidays) and pay the additional $20 when you arrive. Just make sure to fill out the online waiver before checking in. To avoid any hassle, we recommend booking in advance since some days fill up quickly. (Onsite admission without a reservation is a whopping $45 per person)

**Can I buy my ticket when I get there?**

Of course! You can purchase tickets on-site for $45 per person. Just remember, the discounted online rate is only for online purchases.

**How deep is the quarry?**

It’s about 55+ feet deep, with limited shallow spots.

**Can I bring a radio?**

Sure thing! Just keep the volume at a personal level so that everyone can enjoy their experience.

**We were caught with alcohol/drugs, do we get a refund?**

NOPE sure don't and guests will need to leave the premises.

**Is marijuana allowed?**

We have a strict no-drug policy in place, which includes marijuana and other illegal substances. To keep the environment safe and enjoyable for everyone, please refrain from using these before you arrive. If you show up under the influence, we can't allow entry and there won’t be a refund. By signing our waiver, you’re confirming you’re clear-headed and good to go. Thanks for helping us keep things safe!

**How can you search our belongings?**

Please keep in mind that FRP is private property. If you don’t agree to a search of your belongings or vehicle, unfortunately, you’ll have to leave without a refund. We reserve the right to refuse entry based on our discretion.

**I have a reservation, but it’s raining.**

Weather can be unpredictable! If conditions are really unfavorable (more than just rain or thunderstorms- tornadoes or major flooding), we might close the park to keep everyone safe. We base closures on actual conditions, not just forecasts. But don’t worry too much—past closures have been rare! If we do happen to close, we’ll make sure to compensate you. Just so you know, the park usually stays open during rain or thunderstorms, and we encourage you to enjoy a lovely rainy day!

**I bought a reservation ticket, but I have to work.**

Unfortunately, our policy doesn’t allow for refunds or day transfers. However, you can transfer your ticket to a friend! Just make sure they have your QR CODE and they must complete the online waiver too.

**VIP Paradise Site and Parking**

* Each site has space for one vehicle, but spots 9 and 10 can hold two. Extra VIP parking is available for $10 per vehicle.
